I've re-written the physics engine from scratch and added a couple of nifty featues - this experiment is a fully functional game engine. It has a dynamic camera system, a flexible particle engine, and a separate renderer. Levels, models, materials and settings are loaded from disk, so game designers and artists don't need to re-compile the source to change the game. The physics engine itself has been vastly improved as it is much, much more efficient now. The code is well structured, so you shouldn't have any problem building a complete game on top of the current code base. This experiment may take a few seconds to load. ReikkenIt happened again, though this time, much sooner, and again, unintentional. The triangle was between a blue square and the wall, and the blue square was between the triangle and all the green ones. It that supposed to happen? Well, whatever. Besides that, it's awesome.
ReikkenReikken, you are right. I saw this happen one or two times as I was writing the code. I believe it is the same bug that lets players 'push' themselves out of maps in computer games (especially first person shooters such as Halo). As of yet, I haven't found a way of solving this problem. Any suggestions would be welcome!
